About Civil Surgeons:

Most applicants for adjustment of status are required to have a medical examination. The medical examination must be conducted by a Certified Civil Surgeon who has been designated by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Immigration regulations state that each Civil Surgeon selected shall be a licensed physician with no less than 4 years of professional experience. Dr. Sabido has met all of the requirements and is a Certified Civil Surgeon.

Vaccine Requirements:

United States law requires that all applicants for lawful permanent residence obtain certain vaccinations prior to a status change. Our office will review your vaccination records and administer any vaccines required based on your age. Please bring any shot records from a prior physician with you to your appointment.

Required Vaccines Include:

  • Hemophilus Influenza Type B (Hib)
