John Arena, BS, MPT
John C. Arena, B.S., M.P.T., C.S.C.S., is a board certified Physical Therapist since 1999. He is originally from New Jersey where he attended Rowan State University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Specialization in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations. John moved to Florida in 1996 and attended Nova Southeastern University. While at Nova Southeastern he excelled in academics, received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and graduated with Honors.
John has worked as a Physical Therapist, Clinical Site Coordinator, and Clinical Instructor for Progressive Clinics throughout Florida in Naples, Hollywood, Boca Raton, Jupiter, and Fort Lauderdale. His approach toward spine treatment is McKenzie and Mulligan based which encompasses a manual and mechanical approach. Through his training and experience, he has developed progressive manual techniques based on these ideologies.
John has a C.S.C.S. certification for Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His specific certification is recognized for its high proficiency in the sports training of college and professional athletes. Professional Sport Team physicians have referred their athletes to John as he enjoys rehabbing and training high-level professional and collegiate athletes in golf, tennis, baseball, jai alia, and football. John specifically takes pride in achieving high performance outcomes for his shoulder athletes.
